Settings: Creating a new Group Modifier
This article provides a step by step guide on how to create a new Group Modifier.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Click on Settings (gear wheel) and then click on Inventory Center from the left hand menu.
Step 2:
Click on the Inventory Modifier Groups tab. Then, click Manage Category, followed by Add Modifier Category. Enter a name for the new group and set the minimum and maximum number of selections allowed from this modifier group. - For example, set a minimum of 1 if you would like at least one selection required and a maximum of 1 for something like Meat Temperature, so the customer can only pick one temperature option.
Step 3:
Toggle On Demand if you would like these options available for your customer when ordering through your app. For more information on On Demand, please CLICK HERE.
Step 4:
You can also set the display sequence for each modifier. This prioritizes which category will display first, second, and so on when you are in the register.
