Sales : Payment Status
Article Contents: This article gives step-by-step instructions on how to view a payment status in sales history.
Step-By-Step:
Step 1: Select the SALES module from the module navigation menu. The system will open a Recent Orders window.
Step 2: In the Recent Orders window, the payment status of each order is shown. The Payment status can be Success or Pending.
A Pending Transaction Status occurs when an Order ID is created, but the transaction itself is not finalized. This can happen in the following scenarios:
- The order is deleted before payment is completed.
- Items are moved to a new tab, leaving the original order incomplete.
- The payment was never finalized, leaving the order in an open state.
🔹 A pending status does not affect reporting, as it indicates that the order was never fully tendered. If you see a pending transaction, it means no payment was processed for that order.
