Sales : Cloning an Order

Article Contents: This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to clone an order.

Tip: Cloning is a way for the system to duplicate an existing order. Reasons to clone an order include: re-using a previous order for a customer, or quickly processing an order with minor adjustments.

Note: To be able to clone an order, the feature must be enabled in Manage Roles. To turn on cloning for an existing role, follow the instructions provided on how to enable the permission to clone an order. Click Here

Step by Step

Step 1: Click on the SALES module from the main navigation menu. A Recent Orders screen will appear.

 
 
Step 2: Under the Action column, click on the three dots next to the order that needs to be cloned. Select "Clone" from the list of options that appear in the pop-up menu.
 
 
Step 3: Once you click on "Clone," a new Register tab will appear with the same items as the original order but with a different order ID. You can now modify the cloned order as needed.
