Register : Checkout and Payment Processing
This video tutorial provides a detailed guide on how to effectively process payments, apply discounts, and manage checkout for food and beverage items using Club Caddy's register system.
Step-By-Step:
Step 1: Adding and removing items: Use the plus and minus buttons or manually enter the desired quantity.
Step 2: Applying discounts to single items: Select the percentage discount from the drop-down menu, keeping in mind any minimum floor prices set for the item.
Step 3: Applying discounts to the entire order: Use the "Apply Discount" drop-down option at the bottom of the register, choosing from dollar amounts, percentages, or pre-set discounts like employee or veterans discounts.
Step 4: Payment methods: Cash, check, member ID, gift cards, and credit vouchers are accepted. For cash payments, enter the bills given, and the system will calculate any change owed.
Step 5: Split payments: Club Caddy supports splitting the bill between multiple payment methods. Enter the amounts for each payment type and finalize the transaction.
Step 6: Divide pay: Evenly divide the total amount among a specified number of people, and then apply the desired payment method for each person.
Step 7: Separating bills for large groups: Use the table icon to assign orders to individual seats, allowing for separate bills within a large group.
