Golf Outing Manager : Closing Events
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to close a Golf Outing event.
Step-By-Step:
Step 1: Navigate to the EVENTS module (1). From there, select Golf Outing Manager (2) from the left menu pane.
Step 2: In the GOLF OUTING MANAGER, choose the event you want to close from the list (1). To open the EDIT GOLF OUTING EVENT window, either double-click on the event or click the event's ACTION button and then select View/Edit (2).
Before proceeding to Step 3, ensure that all event items are included. Once the event is closed, any adjustments can result in inaccurate reports.
Also, before you can close an event, you must Post Revenue. You can Post Revenue by clicking on Post Revenue button along the bottom. This will post the revenue in reports based off the items in Golfers, Menu and Add Ons tab in your Event builder.
Step 3: Select the Payment tab. Then click on Close Event. A confirmation window will pop up and select Yes to close.
Always close events on the actual event date. This practice ensures proper revenue recognition. After closure, all event items will be marked as revenue received.
